The Straight Razor Acquisition Thread

I have a beat up Cape650 I use to test stones. Amazing razor. The way it's balanced, the length, the width. For me it's the perfect razor.
Now that I am thinking about it, maybe I need a NOS one

I have a beater too, but it’s at about 11/16 and still has a chip in it. I like shorter razors in spite of liking Filly 14s, lol.

 

I couldn't pass this one up. I know nothing about the make but just liked the look of the blade (13/16").

 

Will the mailman bring more......

I haven’t bought a razor in some time, but did restore an old ratty W&B a while ago. It just came back from getting rescaled in bone. Once I drag it across the stones a few times it should be sweeeeet! Here’s hoping it shaves as good as it looks.
