Nice score! I remember @Keithmax had an easy aces he piffed awhile back. I have a coti edge on my Dovo Bismarck. Makes for a really smooth, comfortable edge.
I’m embarrassed..... I’m still “New” to the forum.... what is Glen’s Username? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I picked up this "McPherson Bros. Famous Frass Razor, The Barber's Favourite Registered" SR. Made by McPherson Brothers Cutlers Glasgow. (Maybe @Billyfergie may know a wee something about this brand?). It had some incredible rust on the pivot and spine. Took longer than usual to clean it up. The scales are cracked but very stable, so I decided to leave them alone for now. The rust did a fair bit of pitting and staining. I wish I took a before and after shot. I couldn't find any information on this SR.

Two French Razors just arrived from France today. They were a pain to get, because I had to convert US Dollars to Euros, and mail it to the seller. I know, Big No No, but it worked this time. He even mail back the change, in Euros. My daughter now has some other foreign money to play with. Top- Unknown French Tip Razor. It's a chunky wedge, approx 11/16-12/16 inch. It's horn scales will need a little work, but it seems to be a solid razor. 4,90 Euros Bottom- LE SERRE FILE LERESCHE Fabricant ST JULIEN DU SAULT. I bought this one, because it takes replaceable blades that I won in another auction. 4,90 Euros
Must feed the SRAD Monster at least once a week . Will post Shave report this weekend ,I am curious how the Williams preforms compared to my Korat and RigaRazor ,
Good memory! I had an Easy Aces, great steel, it takes a fantastic edge. It was just smaller and lighter than I prefer. @Heljestrand23 enjoy!
I picked up this JR Torrey some time ago. It was in sad shape when I found it in the wild. I wish I took a before picture...I didn't realize it would turn out so nice. Sorry for the lousy picture. I really must build some kind of picture box with proper lighting.
