Had to bite on this one… The Mappin & Webb Lancet Edge razor is a unique and beautiful design to me. I’ve gotten close on a few, and remember a post of someone a few years back ordering a custom from Rigarazor. I thought that it looked amazing. Fast forward and I got an opportunity to pull the trigger… Rigarazor’s interpretation of the Lancet Edge design. Some beautiful work, and a razor I keep picking up to look at. Oh, and it is quite the beast at 10/8. Already took it for a spin and it was a complete blast of an experience… so fun. Happy hunting. Tom
Tom, that’s an amazing shoulderless design! Kind of big for me, but I appreciate your enjoyment of it. I have one razor that exceeds 8/8. I have a run of the mill Rigarazor! Sergej is quite good at what he does! Enjoy it!
Thanks guys! I am a fan of his work… the seller had a 12/8 that I just couldn’t pull the trigger on and stay married.
Couldn’t resist too buy this one while I was purchasing some Proraso products… Scales in Stainless Steel Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
You gentlemen know that I like pairs, and I scored Hishakaku 500 #2 this morning, also unused to go with the first one. The one that I already have is one of the finest made razors that I have, 1/4 hollow yet so thinly ground at the edge that the bevels are hard to see! The name comes from the 1960s cult film about Yakusa honor, and means rook-bishop from shogi, or Japanese chess. Vendor’s images.
Hi Steve, Yes it is, perhaps it is different models in different markets? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
