Wow, great score Scott! I’m pretty sure I have seen SSA’s with the reverse having Sweden in that indented oval shape.
If you find pics or a thread on your hunch, please let me know. Now I just have to find a couple of donor razors for scales. Time to look into "The Pile of Junk". .
A few dropped through the mail slot… Robeson ShurEdge 35-H-350 Always love a “razor that fits your face.” Ground and honed for heavy beard, very tender skin, and rounded for the nervous man… love the description. Had an eye out for the little brother to my 8/8 King Cutter… Very nice condition and I found what I was looking for. And the prize catch… A Snailforge blade 15/16” to the spine, never scaled, and a great rustic finish and shape. Love the hamon and it is a beautiful, heavy grind. Been looking at photos for scale inspiration… leaning towards bright and bold to contrast the darkness of the blade. Happy hunting. Tom
Thank you Brian. It doesn’t have that grain or look that Keith’s razor has. If he happens to pop into this forum again, I may ask what he remembers. I just think a Wootz with a hamon line would be on his Workshop forum… I may go look at some eye candy.
He doesn't have a lot of his blades posted on his site. From your photo, I thought it could possibly be.one. Wootz is on my Unobtanium List.
Another Boker made its way into my hands… “Radium” Minimal use, if any, and a coffin box in excellent shape. Happy hunting. Tom
