Three new additions. A Nichiri 6/8 full hollow and a near wedge Atlas, 2 Japanese razors where I put in the minimum bid and magically won. I bought them to practice honing. The other razor, 'The Scottish Razor", was a set up. At the 30DC meetup Adam, @Drygulch brought he straight razor collection. He told me he has a razor he wants to show me because he knows it is my style. It is my style and 30 minutes Adam says some of the razors he brought are for sale, of course the one I like is for sale.... now it has a home in South Korea.
I see you have been busy too. I’ve one more inbound from Mike Martinez and then I’m done for the year.
They very well may be, but they may also need honing to shave with. I know the the two I posted as users are already honed and shave ready.
CH Laurent. Paris 25A. This one only cost $8.25 with shipping. It has minimal wear, and only needs a little cleaning. I've had good luck with French Razors.
I bought this strictly for the scales. At $12.50, I felt it might pretty up a nice looking orphan blade.
Those are some nice looking scales. And definitely no guilt of pirating them when the blade looks like that.
One thing I’ve found about eBay is most razors that say shave ready are not shave ready, I’ve had two out of twenty five that gave good shaves that were advertised as shave ready. They all look pretty good.
Just wanted to share what came in the mail today. Robert Williams Custom titled Death By Dishonor Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
I was about to say, wow what a name for a razor.... I was hoping it wasn’t cursed or something! What a work of art, congratulations! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks, the steel I believe as just as impressive ,I can't wait to test it out. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
I had to put down my phone to get to a larger screen... AMAZING! I can't zero in on just one thing to mention - spinework, the blade face, the tang, the scales, the pinning... there is nothing that isn't spectacular! Just amazing! Congrats
Thank you, Robert did an amazing job on it. After this one I have a few more ordered but that will be it. My wife brought this for my birthday coming up. The engraving on the Mammoth Ivory Robert's wife did, the photos do not do it justice. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
