    I saw that one, and passed on it, because it was a "Shorty". It's blade has been shortened. For a shorty, it does look nice.

    I've never used it yet, or any straight razor, but I acquired a Tanifuji straight razor a while back.

    Japanese Straights are great shavers .Tanifuji was a great maker .

    3 1/2 rust crusted razors showed up yesterday. I mainly bought them for the henkles platinum 401. I put up the 8.99 opening bid and had no other bidders. Looks like I have three more eventually useable rat razors. B89AE67A-4074-4E79-A509-BA6A6D898FF9.jpeg

    The stupid low offers do pay off occasionally, especially when they have been trying to sell it for a while and realize they don’t have a bar of gold. Beautiful find it does look very nice.

    Thanks. I agree. Normally I’m not much of a gold wash kind of guy, but the scales and blade really complement each other on this one. This razor showed up in the mail today, and is absolutely stunning! Test run tomorrow.
