Another great job. I have an SK1 homage, it took me a little time to get used to it but it makes shave my neck a breeze.

Well I just got a wonderful Christmas Surprise in the mail today! A gift from a great friend! A Red Point razor that's been restored to like almost new condition with the original box!
The speckles you see on the blade is not rust or pitting, just tiny bits of oil on the blade.

 

That’s sweet, nice job! My red point is a better letter opener than a razor. It is a relic from the time before I knew what a nice vintage razor looked like... congratulations

well I expect this razor to shave well, It came from Gssixgun, aka Glen Mercurio! It was honed on a Naniwa progression.

 

@alpla444 very kindly sent me a lovely Krauss 13/16 hollow ground razor finished on a 20k Naniwa, it gives a very smooth shave. I like the weight In the blade combined with the hollow grind, very much. As you can see, it is a square point that has just been nicely rounded off. The scales are camel bone. They are super nice. Acrylic and titanium wedge. I'm a lucky fellow.

 

Picked this one up on sale from Jarrod @thesuperiorshave and it arrived Xmas eve.

My 2nd Sunday Shaver. Cocobolo scales. The Lovely Mrs Headroom finally let me use it for Christmas. Delightful!

5/8, shoulderless, extra hollow, expertly honed by Jarrod.

I can't see anyone not being happy with one of these, although I would prefer jimps top And bottom.

When I get to a point of a re-hone I will have a measuring stick now. Eventually I'll find if my love for this razor is related to honing, grinding, or both.

The Sunday Shaver is my fav.

 

Nice. He does put a wonderful smooth edge on his razors with a coti.

 

I think on one of his videos he was doing these on an Arkansas Grey. Either way incredibly smooth.

I'll see if I can get close with naniwa and some pasted balsa stropping....when the time comes. I'll just enjoy these now.
