If you're really bored yet detail oriented at the same time, try this. Over the course of five shaves, record your number of strokes per shave and estimate how many inches per stroke. Perhaps an observer can be bribed to record this data for you. After five shaves, calculate the linear feet and inches of skin shaved per session, arriving at an average. Extra points awarded if you are crazy enough to figure out your facial surface area per shave. The winner gets the coveted NoPrize, or possibly the extra Slim I have collecting dust if I can afford the postage. Imperial measures only. Metric units must be converted. Also, use reasonably full strokes--no blade buffing to bump up your mileage per shave. In the event of a tie I'll be shocked, but not as shocked as if anyone seriously tries this.
I may try it…at least I’d do strokes per pass, if that helps. By the way, the stupidest shave challenges of all time are Century Clubs…
You do realize that this could go on for a while due to the fact there are some who only shave once or twice a week so you could be looking at over a month or a month and a half before you are able to get results....
Bonus points if you time your shaves and calculate an average razor head velocity. English (real) units of measurement only, please.
Century club- over a few different forums, at a few different times, some fellas got to 100 shaves on a DE blade.
Wilkinson Sword https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/100-shaves-on-one-blade.445023/ I think this one is called an Excalibur Club. I can’t think of a shaving club I am less likely to be a part of…
I have heard some reviews of those razors and have actually heard they were pretty good as face or head shavers.. They don't have to be used for un-mentionable's... Honestly I thought of getting one to try as a face shaver ( Just NOT a USED one !! )
Because of you, @gorgo2, I went surfing through the Excalibur club thread... again. I remember when it was only 30 pages. There's a guy with 175 shaves on a Feather Hi-Stainless blade in there. Which led me off to eBay to buy a twinplex stropper. Which I don't need. Really. The shake sharp razor with a carbon blade can put anybody in the Excalibur club. So can the Rolls, for that matter. On the other hand, I do have 1000 carbon blades to use up. So there's that. I'm not getting any younger. Edit: I am not sufficiently detail oriented (OCD) to do this sort of tracking for your game here. I don't even count shaves per blade these days. Edit 2: I already own a Slim, otherwise I would seriously consider it.
there is a guy on youboob that gets dozens of shaves from various blades, easy to find him.popular.but what does he endure to achieve that? or what do we not endure and give up on..
