There are always plenty of these available on the bay. I was laughing today when I saw people trying to sell them for $50, $60 and up. Not NOS, either. A NOS in the blister pack last week went for about $45 -- that I can understand. What are these other people thinking? Don't they even do a modicum of research? Oh yea -- someone has one listed from 1959, lol! What gets me is for many razors where they have the wrong year, it is not always off by 26 - but at least they list the actual code. You can't make this stuff up. And I know they skipped Q in the early 70s except at first.
not all razors in the blister pack are NOS... i spent 3 years trying to get a specific one on ebay... simply to prove that the seller was a fraud and was selling one that had been opened with a razor blade on the back side perforations.. got it last year, and it was cut open like i thought. They had forgotten to removed and rinse the razor after they used it.. with one of the original platinum blades it came with. The razor doesnt feel solid, but it does shave if you can tolerate it.
