I like it. I have swapped gear with a guy in the UK. He has an APO address so shipping is from Woodbridge, VA to New York or where ever the East coast APO jump off point is. US rates.
And, just to "clarify" - even though I think it was pretty clear; a) it is never the responsibility of the PIFer to 'find a bro' for you, b) if you're not in the US..and the PIF is 'US only' you have to have a US bro lined up before you enter the PIF In the end it should add no extra workload/cost to the PIFer.
Question I want to ask, can a person doing a PIF also be a shipping bro? I think that needs spelled out, since someone might be willing to ship internationally if they are reimbursed for it, but is a flat contradiction to the PIF rules.
What @Darkbulb wrote here So it would be rather simple; On any US-only PIF anyone (wherever in the world they are) can still enter the PIF as long as they evoke the "US Bro Rule". This means that they have lined up a buddy in the US that the PIF will be sent to. What happens after that I don't think anyone cares about (the buddy send it right away or they have an agreement where he normally sends him stuff every three months, etc) - but to the PIFer it's transparent and no additional cost. Is what I believe should be the Spirit of the Bro Rule.
