I'm going to try and get her to at least try one pass or something. I have to say that the Bunny has made a memorable and highly favorable first impression. Here are my last 2 SOTD... I found that this razor can plow through 3 days growth with ease, and can still be mild enough to be a daily driver. I put it to the test by shaving ATG on my neck area (which is a HUGE no-no) but I came away super smooth and without irritation. I've achieved similar results with the cobra classic and other injectors...but never with a DE. Great audible feedback (I really like that sort of thing), but it is difficult to see the blade. For those who have any facial hair, it might be hard for them to edge up things or follow a specific line. Additionally, I think another contour or indent on the handle might help with offering more grip options. These are just some initial thoughts. I will go into more detail as my time with the bunny progresses. Thank again for the opportunity gents.
To all on the pass around who have, or is going to have the Bunny. I just wanted to say if you have Feather AC blades. Give them a go. I have 5 shaves on my bunny right now and the shave is stupendous. I happen to be using the NOTSO. I try to stay off the thread and not say anything, so not to sway people. But the Feather is performing marvelously. That is all, over and out. Tom
Do you have to cut the feather blades? I tried the Notso today, but my lather was not as protective, and I paid the price. It felt more like a bear claw on a stick...lol. I'm going to rest a day, and go back to the mild plate. If it ain't broke...
Yes you will need to cut it. I use either snips or shop scissors. When you load the blade in the dispenser make sure you have the uncut end out to load first. You may need to sand a burr off. Just use a nail file or the like. Tom
I took a few minutes to polish up the Bunny before her photo shoot this weekend. Oh Boy, does she clean up nice. The copper and Aluminum take a nice shine.
The Bunny V3 arrived today. when I opened the well packed product I thought it looked pretty cool. Then I remembered that I don't believe I had ever shaved with a Schick type razor or blade. I found that loading the new blade was very easy, and with just a little wiggle it slipped in just fine. The razor felt very good in my hand and I felt that the balance was well suited to the Bunny V3. I found it was very easy to find the correct angle of attack after only a few strokes. I used the already attached "Notso", and I will use it again then change to the "Mild". I was very happy with my first shave with the Bunny V3. I did find that it rinsed better under running water than just swishing it around in the sink. Right out of the box I got a DFS. Posted in wrong thread. Just can't get Camp Pendleton out of my head...
She may be a pass-around but sure cleans up nice. Excellent idea JR, can't wait for the photo shoot results!
That spot is one of my favorite places in North America - just incredibly beautiful. And it looks even better with you standing there
I will make sure she uses it exclusively for good week or more. She's a good sport. Nope just need an aluminum handled whisker whacker.
My bad...I'll try and send it out tomorrow...Monday the latest. It's been fun, but I honestly miss shaving with a straight.
