curling is most definitely not a sport.

 

I wish I could change my answer. That's what I get for jumping too quick.

Pinball tournament?

 

I used to work for a company that owned multiple water treatment plants. I was working the night shift during my summer break, and when I came in I could not find the operator. I walked around the plant twice then started calling out for him. He was floating on an innertube in the filter. The exposed section was for backwash water and didn't go to the final product. I found that pretty unusual, but it was hot out.

Here's a hint, I'm going to watch a team sport. A sport that is also an Olympic event.

 

Badminton tourney! I know it's not normally a "team" per se but it could be doubles.

Instead I'll go with a volleyball tournament.
