It's inevitable...it's here... http://www.dorcousa.com/pace-7-sva1000/ Dorco actually emailed me about reviewing it...challenge accepted.
As long as it is free, give it an honest try. I'm sure it will give us cartridge users (who don't enjoy the privilege of trying one) a good insight from your perspective.
Proglide is the best razor. If anyone wishes to write a bad review about it, he will have to deal with me first (Just kidding )
Ummm. Pardon my intrusion Sir, but Pace 7 has eight blades (counting the precision trimmer blade as well). Now, you must give it a try.
Oh its going to be beyond that This is Gillette's new patented cartridge. A cartridge with thin, flexible and uncountable looped blades. Say hello to the "beard grater"
Oh no, Sir. It is totally real. Here is the link to my post from "Are you into shaving science?" thread. I posted the patent links and some details on liquid gel dispensing razor as well. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/are-you-into-shaving-science.47164/page-6#post-903490
There's nothing that sounds more comforting than sawing off your face with a cheese grater...the upside is you'll probably never have to shave again...I'm not sure if the human face can reform that amount of skin/tissue loss.
It remains to be seen if they will actually try to market it, though, right? I'm under the impression Gillette will patent anything solid they have in development, even if the designs never make it into production, just to keep other companies from encroaching on their territory.
