Nice Steve, Congrats!! If you get a chance, pick up some Institut Karite 25% Shea Soap too.....it is superb
Hiya Padron, that's one of the French Soaps that's on my must try list. I figure I'll procure everything on the list and sell off what don't work for me..Can't wait to try the Tabac, though. Steve
Cool, Tabac is very nice and I love the scent, 2 of my favorite French soaps are Institut Karite and Pre de Provence....both are quite nice Provence Sante is pretty nice too
Welcome to The Shave Den Viktor!! I have been wondering about the Penhaligon's soaps for some time now....I'll have to give them a try sometime.
Welcome Viktor!! I too have been wanting to try all the Penhaligon's selection of shaving products. One day!1
I generally make my own soap but if I had to use only a single commercially bought soap it would likely be the Van Der Hagen (aka Surrey) DELUXE soap with Shea butter. It's a nice soap with 40% moisturizers. It lathers quite well and it's and very affordable. Often I can find it on sale for a buck fifty per puck.
Yep, VDH (Surry) = Col Conk. Same company "makes" it. Just the Col put some stank on it. Their is also another soap called Old Grandad or something that may be the same. EDIT: I looked it up its called Country Uncle and it is at www.amazingshaving.com
