Still active. Still shops, cooks, etc. Has a sense of humor that will light you up if you get caught slipping. I love her.

 

All the best to Auntie! And she looks amazing for her age. Heck for half her age.

 

Reflecting on past existence, considering future choices. Worthwhile pursuits to know where you've been and where you're going. How's your current situation?
I'm about half. Plenty of room for improvement, but it could always get worse.

I noticed that the case containing the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in our office is labelled "Emergency Defibrillator". I keep wanting to think that that means there is another "primary" one somewhere.

 

A recent news article stated that scientists had given the drug ecstasy to some octopus? You couldn't dream this stuff up. Getting weirder every day...

There is actually serious research involving methyl-dimethylamphetamine (ecstasy), and the research I've read about using it to treat PTSD in veterans is quite promising. I imagine the octopus experiment was neurological in nature as well. Doesn't actually seem all that weird to me. Google "Alexander Shulgin" for the fascinating history of the club drug ecstasy.

 

So I'm watching some streaming video and a commercial comes on for Brenau University. Apparently, the copy writer for the spot must be a Star Trek fan as it had the narrator boldly splitting infinitives left and right.
