Thuringian hones, prices and sources

    The only concern with these stones would be the one that Tony and Kees have struggled with - the 'soft' inclusions in some of them.
    I bought mine from an ebay seller and it was good, just like the ones Kees and Tony used to sell, after they hand pick the good ones. I think it's appropriate and I was happy to pay the higher price for it since they obviously have to discard the bad ones.

    The inclusions don't affect the honing properties as they're much softer than steel.
