Thanks Joseph. The donut hole is significant, but the Goldilocks lathering method makes for slow progress. :)

I've never seriously attempted Fast 'n Loose bowl lathering. I may eventually give that a go.

The tallow and lanolin in MWF bath soap are very moisturizing. This is the best price I found (even less than the US distributor although he was very responsive when I contacted him), and the vendor ships a dozen bars in the original MWF cardboard box with the batch number noted on it.

The only downside is that my skin now has so much vim and vigor (very similar to @Keithmax) that I get carded every time I attempt to purchase MickeyD's coffee at the senior discounted price. I AARP doesn't find out about it and revoke by membership. :happy102:

But considering I only take a bath on Saturday (if I need one), I'm set for awhile with 24 bars.

When he does his 90th tomorrow, he'll say "Ahhhh, just another shave".

Took my last few vacation days the past two days. Had a great shave back home. I’ve had a great run with the NEW…time to move onto something else.

I had to head out early and needed a quick shave so I went with my Cobra Classic. The Castle Forbes Lime seems to meet all the criteria for the next 3017 target. It is well along the way but a little of CF goes a long way. It is an excellent cream, and I enjoy the scent. Since I have a pretty full tub of CF Vetiver I can resist replacing it right away.

Whew It has been a busy weekend thus far and continues today. Both girls are off and back to their places. I am going to visit my Mom later today. After using the Cobra Classic and Rx back to back, I can say the Rx has more blade feel and is more aggressive to me. The Felce Aromatic is disappearing at a good pace now. I hope everyone has a great day. Take Care.

Arkadia shave # 90 today. Although the soap is a top-shelf performer, I'm ready to be done with it. Still a few more shaves to go.

This is the watch I won in the contest, an Mk II Stingray Keroman. It is based on a 1950s military diver's watch design.

    Klar Kabinett~~Mondial Boar~~Gem Clog-Pruf/Gem~~West Indies Bay Rum
I have been absent for a few days, three of which were camping. So after returning today and mowing the lawn...:angry019:
I took a cold shower and cleaned up.

I wanted to replace the recently piffed Zenith brush, so I picked up this Mondial 25mm boar.
I have owned Mondials in the past, but always seem to pif them. :signs002:
This one is a little different. Rather than the aluminum handle, this is a plastic, faux ivory one.
Not fancy, but it has a nice feel and you all know my propensity for traditional brush handles.
The 25mm knot is Mondial's signature bleached bristle. No funk whatsoever and fairly soft from the get go.
There is an ugly black bristle which will be surgically removed, per Primo's OCD requirements.
The Gem MMOC did a nice job. Oh, I thought I would be finished with the KK, but having missed the last five days of shaving,
the soap will most likely make it through this week.

Hope you and Dr. Mrs. Primo had a wonderful time, Joseph. I bet it felt good to mow down five days of growth.

Sweet looking new brush! Bristles look fine to me. Congrats!

Monday is here already. Off to fight the Atlanta traffic and go to work. I believe I will finish this soap within the next 2 weeks and the splash will outlast the soap. I hope everyone has a great day.

I've been reading about your nephew. Mine also was born with a heart issue, but I never hear him complain(or talk)about it. I don't know if it was inherited. Best wishes for your nephew and his family.

I still take drugs for OCD(I k now, it should be "medication", but in this world of "let's try THIS and see what happens",I thought I'd say drugs. )
