Thank you Jason....I have to figure out why my foot jumps away and hits things to cause me to trip and fall. Just strange.
Thank you Charlie....I used to think these were freak accidents, but now it's time to worry what's going on when my foot darts out like that.
Thank you Clint....doing OK this morning, will ice my headwound. I have to learn to walk like a 66-year old and always look ahead.
I must say I don't agree with the way we use our language at times these days, but I LOVE when someone says "It's like...........on steroids".
Day 57 Gillette Goodwill w Nacet (3) APShave SynBad/ Poculi Asylum Colonia combo Thayers TGIF. I’ve enjoyed the Goodwill the past 3 shaves, but I have a lot of OCs to get through this month so I’ll move on from it for tomorrow.
Hmmmm....sorry about what you had, but was there more "shooting out" when you were approaching something(table leg, beam, wall)?
Clint, you have some gorgeous CH2's. I can't decide if I like the blue or red handle better. The BB OC looks to be a finely machined razor as well. I hope you wrap up that pesky tax return today. Happy Friday.
Here's something that has helped me, Paul. Over the last few years, I've paid more attention to my footwear. Up until recently, I kept shoes and socks until the support system was gone. (I know how to 3017 shoes and socks. ) I was raised to keep my shoes until they looked worn out...not the best idea. I recycle footwear more frequently these days. I replaced all my indoor shoes with those having tread on the sole in order to safely navigate hardwood floors and stairs. I also invested in moisture-wicking athletic socks (I like Balega) and recently swapped out every pair in my sock drawer. When I had my garage floor coated, I added some silica to the mix for better traction. I put up handrails on both sides of the two steps leading from the house out to the garage. And next week, we're having some steps installed on our rear patio for safer access to our basement. I think all this contributes to safer, more sure footing for me, Kathy, and anyone who visits. Take a few minutes and consider your situation, or invite a friend over to look over things with you. I bet you'll come up with an idea or two that will be helpful in addition to seeing your PCP and taking a bit more care in general. Be careful out there. Some people wear Clubman in public, and one could easily be overwhelmed and rendered unconscious by an odiferous cloud.
Friday, October 6 Yardley Black Label~~Simpson The Harvard 4~~Pre-Was USA Tech/Voskhod~~Vintage Quorum Probably my best "vintage" shave soap. This stuff is unbelievable. The Tech/Voskhod "got er dun". The Eufros is about spent.
Thank you Charlie. We did wrap up the return…..all 394 pages of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You werre doing fine until you got to talkinabout Clubman in this topic. But seriously, good advice.. I'm already looking at getting some new "walking" sneakers. They re showing some wear and tear. The flatter-sole sneakers are still OK. As it gets colder here I'll get back to my boots. Good sole action there. Course winters here are known for their longevity. Thanks buddeh.
This weeks tools as I continue to work on the tub of TOBS. I have been scooping out the soap so no donught of death but it is slowly going down. This weeks weapons of beard distruction were my Joris open comb and a pair of JWest razors. Excellent shaves all around. Some classic stanks were called upon too.
On the weekends I leave the 3017 behind and get some variety. Given all the recent love for Tabac and Clubman on this thread I decided to combine both for my Saturday shave. Now, if only there was Piggly Wiggly or Walmart .
