Saturday, October 21 AoS Unscented~~Rubberset 400/3~~Feather AS-D2/Gillette Platinum Seems I am actually 3017'ing a few things; the AoS cream and ASB. The hardened cream continues to impress. Leave it to the Rubberset to facilitate "fast 'n loose" lathering. The Feather gets some bad reviews saying it's too mild... I respectfully disagree. If you know how to find an angle, it'll shave with the best. New Platinum blade was smooth and sharp. Not pictured is my stank du jour: Nasomatto Baraonda.

The RR Santa Maria is a nice dupe of the Santa Maria Novella Tobacco Toscano. The scent of the RR was fantastic and the comparative price even better. Take care and have a great day.
First shave back after returning from the Fatherland. Someone was looking out for me and saved me from the shavemagedon, to my secret benefactor a big thank you . As you can see I know have some back ups for tallow Tabac, I can relieve my Piggly Wiggly memories daily now. In honor of my good friend and my new cache of Tabac it was my first shave back along with a very sharp Riga razor. A classic stank in a nod to our favorite tenor. On Monday I will resume the 3017 on the tub of TOBS.
I'm glad you made it home safely, Keith. I'm not sure what is more beautiful, your Piggly Wigglywear or your cornucopia of tallow Tabac. You are living large indeed.
Sunday, October 22 AoS Unscented~~Declaration Grooming B14 Washington~~Heljestrand MK32 After closer examination, finishing this AoS by the end of the month will not happen. Loading such a large knot in this container proved challenging, but not as challenging as keeping the Swedish steel from drawing blood. I am going to have to dedicate a full month of shaves to my straights. It doesn't take long to get sloppy with your technique. Not pictured, my stank: Derby City Chop Shop's Small Batch Shave Tonic.
