Excluding a couple of neck-weepers, an excellent shave.
    The soap is
    declining steadily.
The Bay Rum from Burt's Bees has a big dose of patchouli.
    Me likey.

Happy Sunday Everyone. I was so busy yesterday resting and relaxing that I just didn't post in the 3017 thread. Both shaves were excellent and I really could not ask for better. Since I enjoy the LEA soap and aftershave so much, this will be a very enjoyable 3017. Take care and have a great day.

Next 3017, I am going to have to weigh my Aesop SS bowl before transferring contents.
    As of this
morning, I can only guess that there remains approximately 4-6g.
I have to schedule a Leresche "focus". This razor never fails to leave my neck with weepers and irritation.
    I'll call it "user-error".
Old Spice for the win. :happy036:

Well done, I am almost finished with my puck of Tabac, wonderful stuff. It effect when you where it to the Piggly Wiggly is just icing on the cake.

    Congratulations!

I am lot busier than I expected, being retired is a lot of work. Here is last weeks work on my puck of Tabac:

No theme last week, but I heard a rumor that a decent Chinese blade existed so I could not resisit. I bought some of the Suneko blades and was pleasantly surprised.

The black hole in the puck of Tabac is growing, it will definately finish in February.

I was enjoying the old school power of Rive Gauche (vintage) so wore it several days.

Decided to jump right back in with the Leresche.
    I was
particularly careful to use zero pressure on the neck and eschewed the ATG.
    Better results.

    Glad you're feeling better, Clint.
How would you compare the WR1 and WR2.
I have read that one should order a smaller blade gap with th3 WR1 because it's more aggressive. Thoughts?

I have the WR2 solid bar with a 1.05mm blade gap. I have two WR 1 OC razors with 0.61mm and 0.74mm blade gaps. I find the WR 2 razor more forgiving than the other 2. I find the efficiency of larger blade gap WR 1 and the WR 2 to be very similar.
