December 4, 2023 OneBlade Genesis V2 GEM PTFE with Subie Shaves Blade Hack Semogue Mistura Taj Mike’s Vetiver Guerlain Vetiver EdT Happy Monday if there is such a thing. I stumbled across a video from Subie Shaves in which he uses a Gem blade with modification in the OneBlade V2. He accomplished this by using a filed down Feather FHS blade a shim. The hack does work and blade locks firmly in place after removing the spine. I did not think about but I increased the blade gap turning a mild mannered razor into one that is much more aggressive. I am sure that my next shave with this setup will be more pleasant. The other big news is that Mike's Vetiver is done and dusted. I will hang out with you guys while I decide on my next victim. Day 22, 23, 24 Catch up post- shaved Friday morning and then left town for the weekend. Back in the den this morning, with a neglected razor- the Gamechanger Jaws. Everything is going well, and the soap is showing wear for sure.

December 5, 2023 OneBlade Genesis V2 GEM PTFE MR EE LE #004 Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Shave Soap Antiga Barbearia de Bairro Principe Aftershave Happy Tuesday Everyone! A couple of changes in the lineup today. I used a Gem blade with the spine removed without a shim. The blade was not as snug but presented no problems during the shave. I am glad I gave this a try since it is much easier than cutting the Gem blade in order for it to snap in place. While I am hanging out with you guys, I pulled out the ABdB shave soap for spin. Wow. I had forgotten how well this stuff works for me. Further it's a great value at $21 for a triple milled soap in a glass jar. Take care and have a great day
