The dimple of death has arrived in my second 3017 victim. The dimple is created by a small extruded piece of plastic in the middle of the tub, so it’s not truly the bottom . Not sure if it will finish up this month, but we have a shot at it.
I think I’ve heard it described as a combination of stale cigarettes, leather and Chiclets. I’m not sure whose chain smoking grandma had a leather purse filled with Chiclets, but apparently someone did. My grandma never smoked, and I’m really not sure what the inside of her purse smelled like; I’m just going by what the other guy said.
Wednesday, February 7 AoS Oud~~Simpson M7~~Gem Clog-Pruf/Gem~~Caribbean Bay Rum Rockin' the AoS Oud. It'll be toast pretty soon. Noce shave with the Clog-Pruf, but the blade was on its last leg. It's now binned. New Bay Rum. Stereotypical West Indies stank. Mediocre longevity but a scent that please both me and Dr. Mrs. Primo. Her father, a fantastic father-in-law, wore Bay Rum. I use it not only because I like it too, but as a quasi-homage to him.
February 8, 2024 Blackbird Ti Lite Feather Shavemac Beagle LEA Classic Shave Soap and Aftershave Happy Thursday. It has been a very busy week thus far at work. The shaves have all been good to great. Thursday, February 8 AoS Oud~~Declaration Grooming B14 Washington~~Wolfman WR2/Weber Bulldog/Feather~~Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns Just for kicks, I traded the Darwin Handle for my Weber Bulldog, which is resides attached to my 2011 R41. I think I am in love. Another Bay Rum to complete a great shave.

Friday, February 9 AoS Oud~~Simpson PL8~~Wolfman WR2/Weber Bulldog/Feather~~Thor's Hammer Bay Rum w/Lime Last shave with the Feather blade. Lovin' this Weber handle on the WR2 razor. New Bay Rum. Thor's Hammer w/Lime. Good, but longevity isn't better than anything else. Picked up another bottle of Dominica Bay Rum off of Ebay today. I am stocked up.

When I think of Thor's Hammer, this image comes to mind: In reality, THIS is what THIS Thor's Hammer AS reminds me of: Starts off with a very pleasant scent. Nice skin-care, but the longevity is nil. All I can say is I am glad I didn't purchase a large bottle.
