January 6, 2023 Feather DE Feather Mondial Boar Mithchell’s Wool Fat Small Batch Shave Tonic Happy Friday everyone. I skipped shaving most of the week which is not really helping titanic this soap. Overall a fantastic shave to start the day. Take care.

Using it daily took me a little over 60 days. I will get back to daily shaving but I enjoyed sleeping in a little later this week.
I keep hitting snooze and skip shaving while getting to work on time. Plus this week, I have a medical test on Thursday at 7am. No way I will be shaving that morning. I will be lucky to make the appointment.

As you can see, my esteemed setup sits proudly atop the Arkomat®. My stick weighs 49 g, and my ciphering indicates that I have ~60 shaves remaining. This should provide @jtspartan with more than enough time to source a batch of select Ebony for my custom-made shave bowl. In all seriousness, Arko performs exceedingly well. I leave the stick on my sink top, and much of the scent has dissipated. I've been using the Gillette Travel Tech for a month or so, and it has even accompanied me on a couple of road trips. It performs as well as any of my other DE razors, and I don't give the short handle a second thought. It's a fun little razor. I've logged more shaves on my two 30DC LE brushes (thanks to @jtspartan) in the past couple of years than any other brush in my den. They have become favorites, and they've changed my opinion on synthetic knots. A few more GSB shaves with this set up, and I'll sashay over to a heavy-handled Mongoose loaded with a Feather Super blade paired with my Simpson Chubby 2. Maybe this setup will finish up the Arko a bit sooner. I 3017'd a container of Proraso aftershave balm this week - good stuff that I would consider restocking. Five more shaves, and I'll 3017 my supply of GSB DE blades. No plans to restock those as I have another cubic foot of DE blades in inventory. And I'm within striking distance of 3017'ing a bottle of Executive Man aftershave. I like this Foo-Foo, so it's a good thing I have a full bottle or two in inventory. Have a great weekend!
