    Happy Tuesday Everyone! My eyes are watering from the combined face freeze of the soap and aftershave. I anticipate this soap being finished within the next two weeks or so. Take care and have a great day.

    I just checked my Proraso container, and I ain't got no more! It is done gone! Gone Baby Gone! History! Worn slap out! It started out like a rooster and ended up like a feather duster! A fond memory...like the last few pinto beans scraped right outta the crock topped with chopped up raw onions, a smidgen of chow chow relish, and a couple bites of ham hock! I plan to dedicate a chapter in my shaving memoir to the ethereal shaves I experienced with this creamy goodness! It gave me more joy than Carter's got little pills. Babies across our great land were jealous of my smooth mug!

    I began the 3017 by loading this container with approximately 1.5 tubes of cream. I enjoy using Proraso, and it is definitely a candidate for repurchase. My next target is a nearly full container of Stirling Executive Man soap. I hope you Sultans, Princes, Emirs, and others are having a phantasmagorical week. Thanks for letting me ride along.

    Are you trying to say that you 3017'd the Proraso? Because I am confused....:shocked029:
    If so, then...:happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096::happy096:

    MdC Rose~~Simpson 90th Anniversary Astor~~1936 Gillette Aristocrat De Luxe/Feather~~Diptyque Oud Palao
    So, there's no way I am 3017'ing another tub of MdC.
    But this soap is gorgeous. One of the nicest rose scents I have ever smelt.
    Truly. Even better than the AoS Rose Absolute.
    Completed the shave with a beautiful Rose/Oud stank.
    I am smellin' good in the neighborhood.

    In a word, yes.

    In another word, thank you. Oops. That was two words. ;)

    Proraso is one of my favorite creams, especially when the lather is whipped up in my Aesop bowl. I bowl lather nearly every time I shave, and it has made a difference.

    if you decide to buy more, all the proraso line have been reformulated, now called "super formula" on the tubs and tubes, now its just like the Proraso Single Edge line, absolutely excellent .:):eatdrink047:

    Thanks Gary. That is good to know. I purchased this cream a couple of years ago in either a food market or pharmacy in Italy. Cost was 4-5 euro a tube as I recall...pretty cool to find such a nice product locally. I'll be interested to try the new Single Edge line for sure.

    I agree, I am surprised they call it pure and some over the top adjective + silver tip.

    In one paragraph I could experience the begging to the end of your Proraso tub along with the remnants of a good meal. Congratulations!

    It is over and done, :sick013:, the Razo Rock The Freedburg tub is now in the recycle bin. There was not enough for a whole shave so I supplemented it with some Proraso cream. Brought out some big guns for the seven gun salute, a Simpson Polo 10 and Mike Martinez 8/8 smiling razor. This week is smiling razor week. Now I will take a week or two form some variety and to seelct the next 3017 target.

    I snuck a peak at that "Super Formula". I need to grt the Refreshing A.S., and, as I mentioned in a reply to your post, the Lime cologne.
