SOTD 20240707 Brutiful ischiapp.blogspot.com ----- Thanks. The theme is Brutiful. I'm killing the Brut line and the Schick Proline P30 blade. It'll take some time ...
The conclusion of Superlative Steel. A 7/8 Brian Brown full hollow blade that has always kept a sharp edge and the few times it was on the stones for refresh it was a breeze. This is a 6/8 Mastro Livi Gifretto, one of two in my den. There was alot of controvery in the past about his razors and his honing. The Gifretto razors are stainless steal and have been just a joy to shave with. The Arlinton is hold on stubornly and it does not look I am making progress.
Sunday, July 7 Macduff's Prairie Blooms~~Simpson Harvard 4~~Wolfman WR1 .74 Ti/Sharp Star~~Lilac Vegetal Playing the field for a few shaves, before my next 3017. Today's lilac soap is the finest I have ever used.
Monday, July 8 Stirling Bonaparte~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger~~Wolfman WR1 .74 Ti/Sharp Star I am not going to 3017 the Bonaparte, but I am going to use it for the next 2 weeks. Mos Def® an acquired taste.

The ASB, however, does keep my kisser feeling silky.

This shave is dedicated to @Linuxguile, who was kind enough to introduce me to this very-special soap. Wishing you well, Andrew.
I am leaving in a few hours for England and Scottland. My nephew finally obtained his driving license so he will be our chauffeur as we tour some of the fine distileries. Finally the bottom is pocking through and so starts the donut of death. My last
Be safe and have fun, Keith! Any place that serves beans, a cuppa, a rack of brown toast, streaky bacon, and porridge for breakfast is OK with me.
Thursday, July 11 Stirling Bonaparte~~Kent BK8~~Barbasol Floating Head/Sharp Star One might understandably assume I am 3017'ing the Bonaparte.
