Likewise, I'm still working on my Stirling Executive Man soap 3017, although I took a short break (used my Tabac shave stick instead) when we traveled to MN for Kathy's annual checkup (all good!). I have made a real dent in the soap and not the container. My shaving setup changes infrequently. I've recently been using JR 451, a Gillette NEW OC, and Voskhod blades. I bowl lather about half the time, and when I do, it always improves the shave. I'll post a SOTD photo later this week. I hope you all are well and are having a great week.
Monday, August 5 AoS Peppermint~~Hoffritz 19mm~~Gillette New SC/Sharp Star~~Royall Lyme Even with the tiny Hoffritz, I made a big lather. The SC knocked it all down---sans blood. The Vintage Royall is a wonderful finish.

August 8, 2024 OneBlade Genesis Gem PTFE with spine removed Ōku Botiho Fine Italian Citrus Shave Soap & Aftershave Happy Thursday everyone. In an effort to cut back on my time on the various shave forums, I limit my posting to this thread. Earlier this week, I used the MdC Agrumes soap. As expected the shaves were fantastic. I am not at all sure, I am ready to 3017 another MdC soap. Digging around the shave cabinet, I found this unused puck of Fine Italian Citrus soap and a matching unused aftershave. I bought this puck when the original version was being replaced thinking I was getting the 1st generation. Sadly this is the 2nd generation. Even so, the soap worked much better than I expected. The scent was simply fantastic. Overall a great shave to start the day. Take care everyone and have a great day.
