Friday, February 10 Day Nine T+S Kyoto~~CH2 Synthetic~~Pre-War USA Tech/Gillette Silver Blue~~Vintage Dior Eau Sauvage Ladies and Gentlemen... THIS is shaving.
Yes, @Paul Turner you are drooling over lather, created with the "Fast 'n Loose" ™© lathering technique.
I may be doing that, but I can only do my best at lathering, and if it can't match up to the video freax and others, well then "K. Sera Sera".
Here it is for Titanic/3017 day 3: prep-Pinaud-Clubman bodywash(in shower) shave-Simpsons Luxury Shaving Cream brush-Stoylin "No-Name" synthetic razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot DisposeABLE A.S. PInaud-Clubman(12.5 oz).
Great Titanic/3017 shave this morning. I like how someone described the bottom hole getting larger-what better way to describe that the end of the tunnel is near. That's what I'm seeing, too. I'll see where I am at the next Throwback Thursday with the small Simpsons puck. Today's result was about the same as yesterdays. Only troubled area was I didn't get much off North Cactus. I may have to return to a "South to North" direction with my razor up there too complete the job. All other areas came out great. 2 passes. Goose eggs on the cuts, Knicks, polka-dots persuasion. The Clubman A.S. was a fine finish. So glad I discovered Monsieur Pinaud's masterpiece back when I was beginning to shave. Another As Outstanding As It Gets.
You don't want this juice, Jason. It's horrible. @Primotenore shared a sample with me. I'll volunteer to take the rest of it off his hands for proper disposal. We wouldn't dare export this stuff across the border. Full disclosure from a non fraghead....this juice smells GREAT.
I'm finding that the closer you are to the end, the shaves somehow get better(I'm probably the last one to discover this, though).
We never stop learning, Paul. In fact, that's one of the most fun things about our wonderful hobby. Well...that and hearing about your exploits at the Piggly Wiggly. Yesterday, I divided up the Arko stick and Midnight Stag puck airing out in the garage. (I used a kitchen knife and washed it 37 times afterward.) Exposing more surface area should speed the process along. I can't wait to see if my Bride notices. "YEEEEOOOOWWWW" may be the word of the day. Have a good weekend, my friend.
