Shouldn’t have had an Old Fashioned after work…just placed a 2nd order tonight. From a Canadian place for some Myrsol Lemon on sale in the original bottle and some fave Marvis toothpastes. Must get offline.

The Emulsion has no alcohol, will keep it at the lake when my skin gets dry. Got one for my son as well. On a bit of a Myrsol kick after loving the F Extra.
Yes, will let you know how the LEA puck does.

Happy Friday Everyone. Five straight workday shaves. I have not done that since last April. Even better, the shave this morning was pure luxury. Lathering the MWF with the Thäter brush was delightful. The Supply Co V2 paired with a Schick Proline just flat works for me. It should since I have a case of these blades. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I’m getting perfect lathers every day with the Haslinger. A very nice byproduct of the 3017 focus.

    March 3, 2023 - Arko Shave # 66 - 3017 Complete

    SOTD_030323.jpg

@jtspartan you are wanted in the wood shop. :)

Arko is truly a great shave soap. There's absolutely no doubt that it represents the best value in traditional wet shaving. I'm glad I completed the 3017. I'm taking a sabbatical for the next few shaves to consider my options and allow for olfactory nerve regeneration and repair.

I enjoy following along with everyone's exploits. You fellers are in for long but enjoyable 3017s with the Fat.

I hope you all have a great Friday!

Other than my drawer being much neater than yours, our similarities sometimes frighten me, Joseph. :D

One of these soaps will likely become my next 3017 project.

    Back to reality...
Day Twelve of my MWF 3017 Challenge.
Was such a great shave, the Rubberset rocked some super suds.
The RFB is my new favorite Gillette 3 piece. (See what I did there?)

Mr. Fumble-Fingers knocked it off the shelf.
    Ruined a perfectly, satisfying shave.

Thanks Joseph. I appreciate that you knocked off a stick of Arko right alongside me. Fantastic encouragement!

Managed to not destroy anymore of my gear today.
Second shave with the Feather blade and, as expected, was smoother than the first.
    My experience with these blades is pretty much always the same;
    Shave One: Sharp, but rough
    Shave Two: Sharp 'n smooth
Shave Three: Still smooth and sharp
Shave Four: Signs of degradation, last shave.
Dr. Mrs. Primo is with our pregnant daughter, so I broke out a stank she doesn't care for:
    Oud Al Layl.

Happy Saturday. It was nice to be greeted by sunshine this morning after the stormy day yesterday. Inserted the Shavemac into the lineup with the remainder of the hardware and software unchanged. As expected another first rate shave to start the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic day.
