You're much too kind, Joseph. In the past, @jtspartan has referred to such things as beating a dead horse. By the way, it is too early to start jonesing for my award when I finish the tub of Arkadia?
"Hello...I'm Orson Wells for Clubman.....a fragrance that will never know.....the end....of its time".
It’s a Maggard mixed knot. It’s not as nice as the Semogue mixed knot but it’s much cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It did break in. Even so I have other boar brushes that are much nicer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Day 12 I think I’m seeing some progress on the puck. No sign of the bottom yet, though. Awesome shave with awesome gear, regardless.
Tuesday, March 7 MWF~~Declaration Grooming B14 Washington~~Leresche #51/Feather~~West Indies Bay Rum Day Fifteen of the Fat Challenge. Nice shave with great lather, skillfully created by the DG B14. Wowsers, what a knot!!! Bay Rum for the win.
I concluded, that when creating the knot I purchased back then, they flipped MANY bristles upside down. NO WAY these thick hairs were ever going to split/soften. I do miss the handle...
Arkadia may be close to Arko in the Dictionary, but that is where the similarities end. A very nice TdH dupe. No rewards for getting to rock a fave scent.
Arkadia is a picnic compared to Arko, for sure. Besides, my den is well-stocked with your wonderful creations. I'm waiting with baited breath, however, to see @Primotenore's shave bowl, made from weathered pallets. I promise not to comment (too much) if he gets splinters or bits of rusty nails in his lather. We'll just add 'em to his list with glue dots, soap granules, black boar hairs, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
