The Lalune knocked down all stubble.
The Bob Quinn brush applied the MWF lather with aplomb.
    No Gluedots to be found.
    No Granules to be found.
No scratchy, upside-down bristles in sight.
    What's missing...?
Center justification and a certain Trebuchet MS font.
    All's right with the world.

BTW, last evening, I partook of a lovely, refreshing Corona beer.

I can't remember trying a Corona, Joseph. A buddy and I occasionally get a draft Modelo when we go for Tex-Mex. It's a good belly washer.

My Bride and I enjoyed a Fuller's London Pride yesterday. This is a very nice English Pale Ale.

I'm glad you have a 3017 thread going in TSN's parallel universe. I lurk there occasionally, and it seems like a very nice group of folks. I bet most of 'em would take the high road and overlook glue dots, soap granules, and B-grade boar brushes.

I often wondered why they discourage 'no-buy' threads, though. It can be a fun aspect of a fairly diverse hobby...particularly when challenges involving Tabac and Arko are involved. Since no-buys appeal to such a tiny fraction of shavers, I don't think it would destroy demand for traditional wet shaving supplies. :happy102:

I'm a few days away from 3017'ing a 32-ounce bottle of Crystal Hot Sauce. It followed us home from Florida last March. Thankfully, I have another bottle in reserve.

I apologize for not mentioning it earlier. Even though it would be widely regarded as a heroic feat in many circles, I didn't figure I could use it to squeeze two brushes out of @jtspartan in one year.

When a forum is run and paid for by a shave gear salesman...it goes against the grain.

I really do not like the change over to daylight savings. It just seems to mess everything up. I actually bowl lathered the MWF this morning. I know I bowl lathered which is something I almost never do. The lather was so rich this might make me reconsider bowl lathering. Another excellent shave this morning and a great start to the day.

I get it. The man what pays the bills makes the rules.

You can buy all sorts of stuff, but you can't buy excellent technique, ya' know. :)

I find that a well-used puck of MWF can be successfully bowl-lathered, as opposed to a new/dried-out one. It didn't hurt that you used that terrific Zenith boar brush.

I’m really not very good at bowl lathering. But maybe practice will improve my skills.

Zenith boars are fantastic. They seem to break in very quickly.

An excellent start to the week. This Art Deco beauty is a quality shaver.

When @Primotenore was learning how to bowl lather, he'd whip up several cubit feet of fast 'n loose bowl lather whenever and wherever the mood struck him.
