Sunday, June 25 AoS Rose Absolute~~Simpson PL8~~Böker Red-Injun No. 101~~D.R. Harris Pink Day Five Chose one of my favorite straight razors for today's shave. The Böker Red-Injun seems like it was designed for me and my puss. Excellent suds from the AoS. I am smelling like a rose.
June 25, 2023 Rex Ambassador Feather DK7 MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica I am just back from a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise with the entire family. We had a fantastic time on the trip. It was fun to unplug and have the time to connect with the family and friends. I only shaved twice on the trip for the two formal dinner nights. Otherwise I was just too lazy. After the break, I am back to work on the MdC. I think I can have this one done and dusted around mid July.

Day 9 Is that the bottom of the tub I can now see? Just barely. The Soap Destroyer helped...but I still dislike the handle. Whenever I can get back to the lathe room, I'm making a new handle for it. I need to make a few other things for a few friends as well.
June 26, 2023 Tatara Masamune Feather Tatara Semouge MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica Back to work day....So sad the vacation is over. At least, I was able to get a good shave to start the day. I really like this razor a lot. I find it very similar to the Feather AS-D2 with a bit wider sweet spot. I hope everyone has a great day.
Monday, June 26 AoS Rose Absolute~~Culmak 92 ~~Gem Clog Pruf~~Vintage Royall Bay Rhum Day Six. The massive knot of the Culmak struggled to pick up plenty o' soap. (I baby this knot) Kept it wet and we got some powerfully. good suds. The MMOC made its sweet spot known. I was able to keep it throughout. Great shaver. The vintage, made in Bermuda Bay R(h)um arrived today. Delicious juice. Real Bay. (There's a massive leaf in this jar. It's like a ship in a bottle)
@Primotenore .Hello Joseph.after this morning shave i would honestly say that the holy black gunpowder and spice aftershave is near identical to my shulton old spice . tech tuesday brit tech hybrid/kcg wcs lantern silvertip the holy black the cream is nice,similar scent ,nothing mind blowing.,not volumous and fluffy but dense/low structure? if that's how its termed slick with lots of post slickness.doesn't dsissipate at all. i did my 3rd/pick up pass without relathering,no issues. post shave feel is average as it should be as that's what the tonic is for. was cool to finally try it out.won't repurchase. but if you like shulton ,this is the closest aftershave so far imo
Congrats on the progress Charlie. I know how hard it is to get the weight off. I can't believe, I only gained 3 lbs on the cruise. Now I need to get that off right now.
