Thank you Jason. I thought about you when I took the photo. Looks like you are just about done with your soap as well. Now we only have to decide what's next.
Friday, July 7 AoS Rose Absolute~~Hucklaration B5~~Cobra Classic/Schick Pro-Line~~Royall Muske Day Fourteen. Here's what's remaining of the AoS: The DG B5 made short work of the lathering. Lovely, as usual. The Cobra Classic was loaded with a fresh Schick Proline P-30. Shout out to @clint64 for hooking me up with these blades. They are smooth and sharp. Less harsh than the Feathers. BBS in three. Barbershop stank extraordinaire with the Royall Muske.
After watching your dedication with the MdC, you've inspired me to tackle a triple milled product. I usually take about a week between 'Titanics' and then I'll focus on my tub of Saponificio Varesino Colonia. That won't be a quick one...
I was considering my tub of LEA Classic shave soap. However given your choice, I will go with SV Felce Aromatica for my next victim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, that certainly won’t be a hardship smelling that scent everyday. Awesome. I have a full tub of LEA classic as well.
You are so right. The scent is simply intoxicating. Since we both have LEA Classic, we have our following victim lined up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saturday, July 8 AoS Rose Absolute~~Declaration Grooming B14 Washington~~1941 Ranger Tech/Spoiler~~St. Johns Bay Rum Day Fifteen. 1941...the first of the Gillette Super-Speeds. This one was loaded with a fresh Gillette Spoiler. Amazing how they keep their keen edge after all these years. Flew a little too close to the sun and was rewarded with some weepers. Bay Rum again to finish. This time from St. Johns.
July 8, 2023 Tatara Murmasa Feather Tatara/Semogue MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica I am enjoying a lazy start to the day. A wonderful drama free shave was the perfect end to a lazy morning. Take care everyone.
Sunday, July 9 AoS Rose Absolute~~Zenith Boar~~Gillette #44 RFB/Spoiler~~Royall Lyme Day Sixteen Mos def® knocking this out this week. The Zenith has broken in nicely and has a nice face-feel with some good backbone. The RFB was outstanding---especially in combination with a Gillette Spoiler. Lots o' lymey-goodness with the vintage Royall stank.
good day gents.attempting another 3017.had this for a few years, time to go.derby/wilkinson stick mix. -Blue-Monday- new sc/kcg ever-ready 100 mystery stick soap polo blue we'll see what happens.fabulous lathers.this may become my new Vito's bowl.
Day 18 This soap gets really soft and mushy near the end. It is very easy to pick up a lot of product. Only a few shaves left now.
July 9, 2023 Tatara Murmasa Feather Semogue MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica I apologize for the late post. Yesterday was a very long day. I got up early, made some repairs on the bay window and painted the new repairs. Then I decided to pressure wash the lawn furniture and back patio. After that I was in need of nice shower and shave. This was the final round for the MdC. I had a really good run with the soap and have two more jars of MdC in different scents that will come up at some point. Just finishing up some remote work. I will post today's shave later on this morning.
Thank you Jason. I made a concentrated effort to buy triple milled soaps over the last several years. I afraid it is slowing me down on finishing them up.
