Friday, May 26 AoS Lemon~~Simpson X3~~Gillette New LC/Sharp Star~~Vintage YSL Kouros Day Two Well, the AoS Lemon softened up slightly. My plan is to use a fairly wet brush and load from the container. I will keep the lid on and we'll see if it ever returns to its original cream state. Nevertheless, the AoS shave creams are as good as anything else out there. I wouldn't pay retail for them, but they are available at reasonable prices all over. Final shave with the Sharp Star. I find that 3 shaves are its limit. The Gillette New LC is a fairly blade-forward tool. Gotta keep a shallow angle; skin stretching when possible and the results will be very good. Finished with what @Keithmax likes to call "King Kouros". He's quite correct, you know.

Day 35 Early morning shave, late evening post. Such is life. Smushed the product to the middle. The end is nigh.
The puck I got from GiftsandCare in Spain a few months ago is still the tallow version, fwiw. Just checked. Not sure if they have more.
Saturday, May 27 AoS Lemon~~Simpson Harvard 4 SiLVERTiP~~Gem Clog Proof/Gem~~Nasomatto Baraonda Day Three. First stroke with the brand new Gem on my right cheek and... Damn, this is rough. Turns out, I did not have the blade set properly. These Clog Prufs have minuscule stops on the left and right. My blade was protruding over the right one and my face did not like that at all. Fixed it and the remainder of the shave was fine, but I have some nice irritation on the right side of my face. Nasomatto Baraonda is a lovely, boozy, woody fragrance. Stunning stank. Sorry about the boo-boo, Joseph, and I hope you heal up quickly. I've had a couple of mishaps with blade misalignment as well - quite frustrating. I've never used a Clog Pruf razor. Does it leave your face cleaner than a DE?

Day 36 Had a nice shave this afternoon. I have to travel out of town for a few days of meetings. Leaving tomorrow night and driving about 3 hours. I’m going to take the soap this time.
Sunday, May 28 AoS Lemon~~Semogue Mistura~~Dovo 91~~Creed Aventus Day Four Excellent lather... Shave was mediocre. Cheeks are smooth, but chin and neck are barely passable. I am completely out of practice with my straights and the Dovo 91 is in need of honing. Actually tossing around the notion of a complete straight razor den-clearing. Aventus to finish.
