Keeping the Lemon cream damp has indeed made the product softer, but has also increased the predominance of the lemon scent; not necessarily good. Now it is reminding me of a cleaner. Good that I am 3017-ing it.
I think this puck will fall next week. It is getting close but it is getting hard to lather. Monday we had off for Buddha's Birthday so I decided to stank up the place with Montale Aoud Cuir D'Arabie, which I think is French for 'the will smell before you even arrive.' Grim Butcher blade for the win.

I will be taking a trip in mid June which will interrupt the 3017 for a week or so.
Tuesday, May 30 AoS Lemon~~Simpson D3~~Cobra Classic/Feather Pro Day Six Steadily making progress. Very easy to create excellent lather. Gripping the CC was challenging at first, but I have it figured out. Leaving today (Wednesday) for a camping trip. 3017 will continue on Sunday, June 11.

May 31, 2023 Supply SE Shavemac Synthetic Schick Proline MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica A wonderful shave to start the day. The Supply Co SE razor has a very narrow sweet spot. I think it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to get a serious nick with this thing. If I do my part the shaves are fantastic. However, if I am not on top of my game the shaves are just so so at best. I don't think this one will be going on my trip later this month. May 2023 Recap Another month in the books. I did finish off the Speick after shave and made a serious dent in the MdC Fougere. As always, the highlight was hanging out with you guys. Take care and see you next month.
Day 39 I don’t think I have a smoother combo than the NEW LC with a Polsilver. An awesome shave early this past morning. The soap’s days are numbered.

Thank you . It is milder than the Supply Co with a 1 dot plate. It has these little fins that prevent skin from reaching the blade while allowing hair to be cut. At least that’s the theory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The AoS tallow is . The last blades to glide through the soap were a Brian Brown full hollow and a Snail Forge that has shoes made by Glenn. Summer is upon us so I have changed out the stank wardrope. The last brushes were a Mister EE (Evan) and a Thäter. Tomorrow I will select the next target to be eliminated.
June 2, 2023 Supply Company V2 Thäter 4125/3 Schick Proline MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica I am late on posting yesterday's shave. The shave was simply rough. I think I managed to bungle the blade up in some way. The only redeeming item from the shave was being one shave closer to sinking this soap.
June 3, 2023 Gillette New SC Simpson CH2 Synthetic Gillette 7 O’clock Black MdC Fougère Myrsol Agua Balsamica A much better shave this morning. The New SC seems so light after using much heavier modern razors. This vintage is truly a joy to use.
Sunday shave kicking of the next target, Queen Charlotte's Soaps Iced Lime. QCS made my favorite croaps and their puck's were top notch too. This puck is the last QCS in my den. It is about 90% so I expect it will get me through the summer. JWest razor, Brad Sears brush for shave and finished off with the King of stanks, Serge Lutens Musc Koublaï Khan.
