Kudos to @Drygulch on getting it done and @NCoxSTL for making this event come together!

When Hollywood casino was harrahs casino they had a really good breakfast including crêpes, but it’s been a while since I’ve been there.
St Ann is not so much a nature presrve, but this time of year you can always play the exciting game of fireworks or gunshots.

I'm not attending, but I'd appreciate hearing any news about a Dixieland Jazz band I like called The St. Louis Ragtimers. Saw them many years ago when they were part of the Central City(CO)Jazz Festival. The famous and brilliant pianist Trebor Tichener was with them at the time-he has since passed away. Anything collected, shown on here, etc....will be appreciated-thanx in advance.

Ver-sails is mostly how I’ve heard it. I grew up here and am suprised how a lot of names are pronounced.

That's funny, and alarming. I grew up on a Versailles Drive in Alabama. Even Bama rednecks know that one.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

Ivan showed up with the special delivery from Florida today. @Keithmax , @Drygulch and @mrchick your Shavey's are in the vault here at Cartel HQ. We had some difficulty with the package. It was quite a bit smaller than we originally expected, but has the density of a neutron star. @BaylorGator packed it full.

The Cartel assesses the following tax from the shipment for handling, security and distribution: A Sample of Barrister and Mann 42 and B&M after shave samples. Here is the rest of the haul that will be up for grabs to the remaining attendees! (Minus a sampler of Stirling Almond Creme AS - I missed getting it in the picture)

On the soap, if you want to pay Jeeves directly, he set up a coupon code of ST.LOUIS that will refund domestic shipping if you are picking up Saturday. Or just pay me cash there, $40 for the set. (That shipping code is only valid for pick up at the meet, if you do want to order it and have it shipped to you, don't use it.)

There was a former MLB player named Zoilo Versailles....(pronounced verSAHyis)-Minnesota Twins Shortstop during the mid-60's.

I’m in Versalles is how the townies say it. I sell beer to all the stores in that town. Not many people with their teeth round those parts.....

We pronounce Versailles the same way in Kentucky - Ver-sails.

Fontaine Ferry Park in Louisville is pronounced Fountain Ferry Park.

    Ghent is pronounced Gent.

It amazes me that the UK and Europe have been around for so long, and they still don't know how to pronounce their own town names.
