Oh, I'm so glad I found this thread. I've had my background on 'new' since I joined, and it hurts my eyes. I like the 'softer' default setting. I wish I'd seen that sooner.
That's funny, I find the blue default to be harsher and harder on my eyes, while the "new" in the browns is much softer and easier to read... once again, burnWood...
Just letting you all know that the dark theme is coming along well, and is not based off of our halloween theme. Hopefully I can finish it within the week.
I just found this thread and, until now, didn't realize I could change the color themes. While I could live with it, I don't really care for the blue version. I find it cold and uninviting. I have always liked warm colors to cool ones. What I really like is that we have a choice so everyone is happy. I realize that this takes a lot of work and it is very much appreciated. I cannot wait for the Channukah theme. :happy102 All kidding aside, thanks for such a thoroughly enjoyable site where I have learned so much.
Thanks! I learned a long time ago, everyone likes different things. Having a standard is important, but having an alternate is big too.
