If I sign up for the SOTQ mid-year, does my 'subscription' just carry over to the first 2 quarters next year, or do I get the first 2 quarters' soaps at some point this year?
Your subscription is good for four quarters, regardless of when you sign up. So, yes, it would carry over into next year.
Got mine yesterday. Love the scent--my 3rd and favorite SOTQ. Can't wait to lather it up this morning.
Mine was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. I melted it down into a bowl and I'll be using it tomorrow for my Saturday str8 shave. Nice scent. I'm curious to know how it will smell after getting lathered up.
I think you'll be very pleased. I used it this morning and the scent really comes to life after it's lathered. One of my favorite soaps now in terms of scent.
It was with TSD Tommy Bahama Type that I really learned that you can't judge a soap by the smell of the puck. I'm not crazy of the smell off the puck, but I really like it once it gets lathered up.
Mail lady brought me a goody today! C2 is very nice! I like it already and if it gets better when lathered like you guys are saying it should be FANTASTIC!
I do like the scent better after lathering it up. I'm not good at describing scents, but for me this one was a bit complex. One minute I would smell cherries, the next a smokey campfire scent, after that something different. Very unique. I like it!
Knowing that you have not had a drink in a few decades... I will say that your "tasting notes" are quite a bit like sampling Scotch... just when you think you have the notes nailed down,,, add a few drops of water and the notes change again!
just received mine today. Thank you again Shawna for the PIF. I cut the grass yesterday and my sinuses are all sorts of off kilter. I will lather it up and check it out in the morning. Hopefully I can smell it.
I really like the scent but something in this soap irritates my face! I had to switch halfway through to something else. Such a shame too because the smell is really neat. I'll have to post in the classified and see if someone wants to trade for something else.
... On a more serious note, will we need to create a new thread for discussion of the COTQ or will it be welcome here in this thread?
