Did a 3 pass shave with touch up's. Great shave for the short amount of time I had.

The Star/Treet combo turned out to be very mild and had to do an extra pass to get my wanted results. Very smooth and comfortable though thanks to the really nice "More for You" shave soap so no problem. So I'm ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.​

 

Will be participating in Arko August.

The plan is to shave with my Arko sticks on workdays and use soaps from my regular rotation on weekend's.

Will definitely be using my lemon kolonya for some Turkish shaves as well.

For those of you from the US. Where is the best site to order Turkish shave products from?

Also any recommendations on Turkish software. I have the lemon kolonya and Arko covered. Just looking to add more Turkish shave gear. If the price is reasonable and they perform well.

 

Another shave with Arko and used some Peraja kolonya.

The lemon scent of the Peraja pairs well with the Arko IMO.

As I was trying a new to me blade, the Concord, I thought "Let's go as Turkish as I can" so out came the More for You SS and the the Turkish #6 brush. Big mistake! This was not a good shave. Although I got a nice lather from the More for You SS, it was more because of the soap than the brush. The brush sucks for me. The Concord blade was very tuggy and not at all comfortable for me either. End results were ok but more from perseverance than anything else. The blade gets binned and better products used tomorrow. Rubbed the stick on my face and did a 3 pass shave that turned out great.
Think I got my water to soap ratio figured out with Derby now. Not getting any dry post shave feel from Derby stick anymore.

Arko comfort balm is great stuff. Makes you wonder wth is in other balms to make them cost so much.
You should try the shave cream. it is a belter.

Well I just can't seem to get enough of Turkish shave soap lately.

Shaved with Mike's yesterday and got a good shave. But I liked my Derby stick shave better today.

I also had some bumps this morning. I've had them in the past and can't seem to figure out what exactly is causing this. But I never had this issue when I shaved with Arko all August and the next 8 shaves with Derby during the beginning of this month.

Today I did a basic shave.

Persona lab blade that was new
Skin Bracer aftershave
Gillette aftershave gel

 

I've got that as well somewhere. It is good stuff, very good stuff.
