I came across an open comb similar to the Gillette Old Type. The baseplate has two stamps. Made in England on the bottom right and G/N on the bottom left. Anyone know what model razor this is?
I did a Google search because I was curious. I typed: "what vintage open comb razor made in england has G/N on the underside of the bottom head?" Not sure I trust Google's AI results but this is what they came up with: The vintage, open-comb safety razor made in England with "G/N" on the underside of the bottom head is the Gillette "New" (or "Flat Bottom New") razor. Here's a bit more about it: "G/N" Mark: The "G/N" marking on the bottom head indicates that it's a Gillette "New" razor, specifically the "Gillette New" or "Gillette Flat Bottom New" model, produced in England.
You said, "Not sure I trust Google's AI..." Romsitsa was telling you not to, since you're not sure, in case you might.
