My Final Thoughts...... Alas, the time has come to pass on the Bunny to @blashe and I have already sent him a PM for his address. It took a short time to get used to the angle for using the Bunny, but it was't hard to figure out. Even with the mild comb attached to it, there was no problem getting BBS shaves. My only problem, but not the fault of the Bunny, is that while having a course beard, I have a couple of really sensitive areas, mostly right under my chin. While it worked great on a daily basis every where else, it did give me a loud audible feedback with a touch of irritation under the chin and that's why I went to using it with two days worth of growth. For me, that's where the Bunny worked admirably. It felt a lot smoother and comfortable that way. Even though I have never used it, the older version with the rounded handle would seem for me better to use, that's just me. Would there be the possibility of having a closed comb attachment for someone like me with those sensitive areas, well, only @twhite can answer that. Overall this is a very good razor which should produce BBS shaves for any one using it.
That ought to be easier that the open comb. Could be done in the three aggression levels without the extra work of "combing" the bars. I'm seeing the Accessory Line as a button on the Order Your Bunny main page!
I do love open combs, especially my Bostonian and New Open Comb, but sometimes they do irritate under my chin. Closed could be what I would use, especially as an every day razor.
I had my GF mail the Bunny to @blashe earlier today because I've been feeling a bit blah today. Guess it's cold time and I didn't even shave today, yuck, oh well. I'm already back and I only used it once. We visited some good friends on the other coast. But, here's what I noticed. I had to think about the correct angle when I first put it to my face but I suspect I still put too much on it at times (wasn't flat enough against the face) as I had a lot of noise from the alum and a few small weepers/cuts - which was unexpected. I don't think it was the pressure as I have a lighter hand now after being on straights for about 4 months or more. I went really fast and that could have been part of it as well. The reason I suspect the angle is that I noticed how the lather would tell you when you had too much angle - the grooves from the open comb became very obvious. This happened a number of times so I know I was out of the sweet spot multiple times. I used the NOTSO comb and I usually use the Wild for the first two passes and Mild on the 3rd so it wasn't the comb choice that lead to the noise and cuts. But the closeness of the shave was phenomenal. I've gotten used to straights being on par with my SEs and some injectors but the Bunny makes even the tight and difficult spots easy to get super close. It gave me a new target for the straights to reach. I had forgotten the level of audible feedback. Just enough to let you know you are on the right track when working with the tough stuff but nearly silent in the thinner parts. A really, really nice razor - it makes me want to do a Bunny vs. Hussy shave off sometime in the not too distant future.

I was going to just mail the razor and keep the opinion for my self, I believe when someone gifts you something the last thing to do is criticize it.... I'm grateful for being allowed to use the razor, but if my opinion matters that much I will write it down after tonight shave which should be with the aggressive plate. @blashe If you have something negative to report you can take it to PM. This pass around is to gather information for the next version of The Bunny. This is Version 3. For Tom to make a better Version 4 he needs to know what didn't work. The rest of us here are his cheerleading squad. We do like the Bunny as is. But if your input improves it, YEA!
