Currently using Dove+Men. Has a great smell for a guy and it's extra moisturizing! No after shower itch here!
I only use liquid soap and a scrub puff thing. Saop is cheap and scrubs thinsg are a $1. Just use a small bit of soap and work it in and you have a lot of lather. Works best and no messy var or clean up.
I use yardley lavender. Its a tallow soap and might even be triple milled. It lasts a long time. I rub it on a shower poof and scrub away lol.
I dont use soaps because of soap scum Nivea For Men Active 3 BW + shower pouf thingy Economical, and faster showers
A shout out for C.O. Bigelow Mentha Body Exfoliating Soap, available around, and at Bath and Body. Pretty "cool", loaded with minty freshness. Great wake-me up in the morning and really leaves a great smell in the bath and surrounding rooms for a while. The on-body fragrance doesn't last forever, but is nice while it does. Invigorating for sure.
My aunt uses Pears old formula soap. Anything else makes her break out, she's allergic to everything else. She even uses it for shaving her legs. Has anyone tried it as a shaving soap?
Right now I'm using a bar of Palmolive I got from a sample pack, but to really help make a bar last and my Mom taught me this over 20 years ago. Open all of the packs and store them away for a while and let them dry out. It gets the excess moisture out, especially glycerin or castile soaps.
I just tried switching to bar soap from a life of body wash. I tried the Cetaphil and that seemed to work okay. Then, I tried a cheap Walgreens bar soap that has bath oil in it and it actually did a pretty god job. My skin didn't feel tight and scratchy like it usually does after deodorant soaps and body wash. I have been told the Olay bar soaps with Shea butter are great at keeping the skin moisturized.
For those that use the scrub/puff, how do you scrub between your toes and your face? It seems like it would hurt on your face.
1) You don't really need a puff/poof/scrubber. 2) If you do use one, you adjust really fast and it doesn't hurt.
