Im putting a video together of the trip too. Should be out shortly. The only problem is that I didnt feel like lugging the camera around the strip, so most of the footage is of us in the hotel room. I'm going to make a spoof called "the worst vacation ever".
I see you haven't converted your friends, looks like some of them need a shave. :rofl I did not have any luck with my buddies either. Glad you had a good time. ::
Looks like you had a great time! Do the casinos still offer you free booze when you play, or has that changed? "Sirens of TI", eh? *Makes entry in travel planner*
Glad you had a good time. I haven't been there in a couple of years. I like to stay at Bally's. There's now a hotel/casino there that has horse shows that I need to check out. It's a great place to visit. I'm not much of a gambler. Video Poker and the video nickel machines, stuff like that. Only table game I'll play is Pai Gow. Drinks are gratus while you play. They want you to have a few too many and make mistakes. I'd like to see Blue Man Group. I've caught Cirq several times on tour and I've seen a lot of Penn & Teller shows on cable. I loved their Bullsh*t series.
The quality of the booze can vary widely though. The high-end joints will serve you better booze :: FWIW I once ordered lemonade while I was playing Blackjack at the Venetian. Some bartender or server went out of their way to make "homemade" lemonade; sweet and tart at the same time, over ice in a big highball glass. Yum. :happy096 --Mark
Pai Gow was definately one of my favorite. You dont loose your money 2/3 of the time (unless you bet on the bonus). Mini Pai Gow is better though because they dont take commission. I love Penn and Teller Bullsh*t too. Funny you should mention that. It seemed like the strongest Gin and Tonics were coming from the Flamingo. The other places did the drink justice, but none topped the Flamingo. As a side note, I might as well buy stocks in Tanqueray, Hendrick's and Bombay Sapphire.
