Gentlemen, whereas I still haven't compared this blade to others of the Gillette Platinum variety, I am comparing this blade to the "Spoiler" Gillette blades from late mid 60's to 82's varieties, and my conclusion is the Gillette Platinum blade shown is equally as good, without a doubt. Now I'm aware of the YMMV but as you're all aware, I've been around the block several times before. Anyway, if you get the chance to, I'd advise you giving them a try.

 

awesome sir..not many have said this.. in fact you are the only one i have read so far..i love the spoilers for their smooth and sharp shave ,with great longevity.i will give these blades a more serious trial..thank you..spoilers are the only blades i tried to get as many shaves as i could to test their longevity as the are hugely expensive..10 comfortable shaves so far before starting to get dull and binned it..a modern readily available blade as good as a spoiler .subjective i know..would be awesome..gsb and most others dull out at 3-5 for me..nacets about the same..onward and forward..
