Thanks Gary! This was my first ever shave with a Single Ring, and I already love it.

This one came from @Linuxguile. I was hunting for a razor produced in 1915, as that was my Dad's birth year. This one is from 1911, so it's close. I have the box and both blade banks as well. I bet this old beauty could tell some stories.

 

very cool,it sure could.both my canadian old types are caseless .well you know the drill.light touch and ride the cap..they were designed for thicker blades..glad you like it.i need to use mine more..

Simpson’s preshave oil
Simpson’s luxury shave cream
Nacet blade
Witch hazel
Florida water



First shave with this cream and oil. And the Nacet blade. The oil, cream, and blade came from the 2019 traveling box. I loved the Nacet blade. The oil and cream is very nice as well. Of course this razor is a great razor that shaves well with any blade I have tried so far.
