Tuesday NOvember 26 No Repeat (mostly) NOvember. No repeats so far except for scuttle, blades, and alum. Up today, my 1948 British Aristocrat #21. Bowl/Scuttle - GP12 Soap - Haslinger Schafmilch Brush - Brad Sears Blade - Gillette Platinum (9) Razor - Gillette British Aristocrat #21 (1948) Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Floid A/S balm Shave rating 5 of 5 Needed a good easy shave today as my face still hurt a bit from my shave yesterday. The Schafmilch soap was the perfect soap for my situation - extra slick, moisturizing and I made sure not to goof up on the lather today. A 2 pass shave, WTG and XTG, with the #21 and I couldn't tell that yesterday's shave was a dud. This is a really good soap. The alum was a little vocal on my neck area but that was it. I thought the A/S balm would have a stronger scent that it does. Happy NOvember and great shaves everyone. - Ken
Gillette Valet Autostrop VC3, Feather FHS-10 stainless blade, shave 3. This razor was made after 1939 so it most certainly qualifies for this thread since it is a uniquely Gillette product under the Autostrop division of Gillette. We also know a few of these were made with the Gillette company name stamped on the razor head.
When I use this razor I have to check if there is a blade inside. To me super mild but it does the job. Sent from my SM-T387V using Tapatalk
