A few months back, I wanna say back in December of 2019 as some of ya'll may know that was when I joined here on the shave den, I was looking on ebay and came across a razor that not many people have heard of. This razor was a 1911 Mini 3 piece safety razor called the "Anticore". Now for some reason since then, that razor has sold, Haven't seen any other listings on ebay since. If anyone knows about this razor or where I could buy one let me know please. I often like to compare this one to the "Gillette Tech Travel Razor" personally I like the way this one looks over the Tech.

thank you Mike.the light blue french set has the hollow handle, but is heavier due to thicker brass walls.not so head heavy..

very cool looking razor.hard to say how it would shave as it was made to use gillette style 3 hole blades. gillettes older than 1930 used 3 hole blades.they were a lot thicker and not very flexible.they can be a tad rough with modern blades for some..modern razors like merkur and others still use the 3 hole type blade locating design but are meant for modern type blades..

Hi Myles. I found some pics of this razor on an old Etsy listing and you might a tough time finding blades for it unless you were able to modify a gillette blade to fit it somehow.

From what I gather Merkur replaced their detail razor that took the blades pictured with the Mustache Razor. They had to do something with the original blades, so they made corn removers. I could be wrong.
