That does not compute...one? Nope...
Thank you! I’m fixing to give the 66 a try. I’m still soaking the Senator it’s gonna clean up nicely! Then I’ll have to wait a couple days to shave since I’m shaving so late tonight. I can’t get a five o’clock shadow. It’s more like a 48 hour shadow. Or more. Lol.
Well enjoy Sir they both look beautiful!
Ok. First run. Used Wilkinson Sword Classic blade. Dubl Duck M2 aluminum brush. Mama bears bay rum soap. Really loved it. I’m a huge old type fan but this razor was really easy for me to use.

I would use the Astra SP simply because that is what I used in my 30's Aristocrat and had great success. Although I have a Senator & a Sheridan I have not used them, but my 30's Aristocrat that has the same head. So I would expect the blade to react the same. But have not experienced the Wilkinsons, so could do as Rev579 suggested and use the Wiks?
I’ll give them a try first. Then the astra after. I’ll report back!
Razor: ABC 1910 Empire(Gold) B321627
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock SharpEdge Yellow(my first try with this blade)
Brush: Ever-Ready/Whiting/TGN 16mm Finest
Pre-Shave: Face Lather
Lather: ToOBS Mr. Taylor’s Travel Stick
Aftershave: Pre de Provence No. 63 Balm
Tom Ford Costa Azzurra EDP(first time wearing it)I was able to find some more TF samples and finally try the Yellow blades. The blades did really well and I have to wait and see about the cologne.
I love that razor!
Thanks. I can say I like all of the ABC razors and their handles for a variety of reasons, one of which is variety. The other has to do with the Thin Cap and the way it pairs with the thin, modern blades.
