    The Single Ring. Different trademarkings than my other Single Ring. The Gillette diamond/arrow, "Made In U.S.A.", and the "G in a bullet", which I don't have on any of my other vintage Gillettes. Weird black coating/paint, but I'll have this one shaving soon.

    the black coating could well be tarnished silver plating..cool score..the g in a bullet marking is cool and has a meaning.need to research..

    Welcome to Thursday! Sunny and warm today after more than a few days of rain. Time to BBQ and get out on the back deck for some sun.

    Today’s razor the Gillette Flare Tip Rocket made in England. This one is from 1959-61 (thanks @BBS for the info) and is in minty shape. Something so solid about the Brit Gillette razors. Smooth to open, hefty for those not made of aluminum and the plating and finish are superb. Loaded up with a fresh GSB.

    Soap of the day Stirling Orange Chill which is mentholated citrus goodness. The matching AS is more of the same. I enjoy Margaritas in the Arctic quite a bit but this one is just a great scent.

    Brush today is the RazoRock Chubby Extra and it’s a wall of pillowy soft badger. I believe these are house branded Zenith brushes. Exceptionally good brush and a seriously comfortable lather maker.

    Lovely three pass shave and BBS achieved on this sunny Thursday. Topped off with some AdP Colonia to seal the deal. Enjoy the sun and your shaves!
