Finally shaved with the Cavalier. Cold water, Arko stick (which won't fit in that shiny tube). It is a fine shaver, right in there with my New LC and New Deluxe.

Razor: Gillette Golden tech-Mfg 1940's mild razor but with a Kai blade it makes the Tech sweet spot angle magnified IMO.
Blade: KAI SS(8) still testing(.009 thousands inch wider than standard blades approx) makes for better blade feel and it sure made my Gillette Tech much more my kind of razor to enjoy. There is something about certain blades in different razors that is accurate that seasoned shavers have been telling us all over decades(just trying to find them
Soap: Colonel Conk Bayrum- mild scent with excellent lather properties.Always get great results for post feel.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26mm synthetic, great brush for creating lather and is a pleasure to use, soft tips.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser +a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups.(cold water is nice on a hot days)
Post Shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Great shave with my seldom used Gillette Golden tech with Kai SS blade to make it a sweeter mild razor.

very cool tech shave Ron.haven't tried a kai blade..with the 2000+ blades i have it's better if i don't.if i like the kai's they'll be redundant..
