Since I'm new to this the only "old" thing I could think of was my first car. There were a few close shaves in there.

This is a 59 isn't it?, My dad bought a 1962 Olds that was a demo-car. He drove it home and the radiator burst sitting in the driveway of the house. He took it back (had it towed back. He walked across the street to the Ford dealer and bought a Galaxie xl500 fastback. with a 427cuin. I learned how to drive driving that car.

I've got two razors which aren't vintage. And I use those seldom. Vintage almost every day! Brushes: three vintage, two recent. Only one soap which isn't available anymore. On the menu this week: Razors (left to right in the pic - part of the regular rotation): Mo: Gillette Aristocrat Junior (modern blade) Tue: Valet Autostrop model B (adjustable) with vintage Valet blade Stropped on original Valet strop Wed: Gem OCMM (modern blade) Thu: Ugly Duckling (brandless DE, which performs great) with vintage Gillette Blue blade Fri: Valet Autostrop model C3 (modern blade) Sat: Wilkinson Sword Imperial adjustable SE with original (half hollow?) blade Sun: Rolls Razor Brushes (left to right in the pic): Mo: Vie Long Horse (not vintage, sorry. But great brush!) Tue: Frederick Dickinsonson & Gilroys travel boar. Got it as NOS complete with casing. At first it was quite stiff, but it has softened by now. Great little brush. Wed: the same Thu: Travel King boar. Late forties; in the pic it is still in its travel position - though the casing is open. It is closed for traveling of course. When used the brush flips upright and the casing serves as handle. Fri: De Vergulde Hand boar (at least form the eighties if not earlier) Sat: Travel King boar Sun: De Vergulde Hand boar Soap: QED Wild Rose (just a few shaves left of this wonderful soap. I'll keep it for sunday (mother's day over here).Really too bad this fragrance isn't available anymore.
