Anybody used these blades before. I got some with a razor purchase recently and tried one this morning in my Slim So far, the best shave I've had. Doubt if they are still made in England though. Anyone know the history of these blades.

I don't know much about the history of the blades, but I like every vintage Wilk I have tried. The chromium coated light brigades are a real treat if you happened into them. Give them a try, if you don't like them, by all means send them to me.

Indeed they're not made in England any longer - the WS factory used to be on Bassington Industrial Estate, Cramlington, Northumberland... it ceased production in 1999 and finally closed it's doors in 2000.

WS blades are still made - allegedly to the same spec, in Germany.

They are no more and the attempts to duplicate them have come up short. Too bad....an excellent blade.
